Welcome! Welcome! To My Too Many Women blog. If you’ve just come from my Just Giving Page – I’m afraid you’re going to read the exact same story here!
I have recently signed up to become an Ambassador of Too Many Women, a charity which supports breast cancer founded by some people from my school. The idea is so simple. Basically, I have to recruit NINE PEOPLE to join my little team and each of us in 2010 (nearly a whole year so lots and lots of time) have to raise £500 each in whichever way we please. As a team we will have raised £5,000 and there are 201 teams. Calculators out – that means 201 x £5,000 = £1,005,000. What a lot of dollar! All for doing the odd thing in 2010 to raise £500.I‘m going to be doing various “events” throughout the year …maybe abseiling? bungee? fasting? juggling? Who knows but if the idea of me doing any of these things makes you laugh/cry/wince/evokes any emotion at all then PLEASE PLEASE sponsor me at www.justgiving.com/ASHA-WOLSTENHOLME and I will keep you updated on my events here too.
