Research Centre News
The first research to emerge from the Breakthrough Generations Study was released today and the findings could lead to a test to predict a woman’s reproductive lifespan, which would help the one in 20 women in the UK who are affected by early menopause.
The Breakthrough Generations Study is the largest and most comprehensive study into the causes of breast cancer and is taking place at the Research Centre in London’s Fulham Road. The Study plans to track over 100,000 women over the next 40 years to identify which lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors make some women susceptible to the commonest female cancer.
