The documentary looked at developments following the sequencing of the human genome ten years ago. Alan’s pioneering work on PARP inhibitors is at the cutting edge of research in the past decade, which is why the BBC were keen to visit the centre.

It was a fantastic documentary and  showed really well the remarkable work of the research centre and why those affected by breast cancer should support Breakthrough and our pioneering work.
