The Research Centre is on Fulham Road and is a ten minute walk from South Kensington Tube Station.

Some of the amazing discoveries to come out of the Research Centre, which has been hailed by cancer experts as “unmatched” and “unparalled”, include:
- The development of a targeted new drug that shows promise to be effective in treating a third of all breast cancers.
- The World’s largest and most comprehensive study into the causes of breast cancer – The Breakthrough Generations Study.
- The development of a pioneering new drug called Olaparib which shrank tumours in 40% of cases and is being hailed by experts as a new direction in cancer treatment.
- The development of a new test that could indicate whether the most commonly-used chemotherapy drug will benefit a breast cancer patient within 24 hours of taking it rather than the current 3 months. This will make a big difference to patients who could be moved onto other treatment options sooner and spared unneccessary side effects.
